JAMESTOWN POLICE
— An unwanted person complaint at a south side residence has led to the arrest of a city woman.
Around 3 a.m. Sunday, Jamestown police found 32-year-old Trisha L. Ferraro at the location upon their arrival. Ferraro had several warrants through the city of Jamestown Court for failing to be in court. Upon a further check, officers discovered Ferraro had an additional warrant out of Erie County, Pa. for theft. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was held pending arraignment. She was charged with being a fugitive from justice in addition to her Jamestown warrants.
CATTARAUGUS
COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— FRANKLINVILLE — A Cattaraugus County man is facing charges after an alleged trespassing and a complaint made regarding a dead cow.
Sheriff’s deputies charged Russell W. Ulmer, 52, of 7135 Cadiz Road, with 38 counts of failure to provide proper sustenance to an animal and two counts of disposal of dead animals at a location on Cadiz Road. The complaint was made on Dec. 24 and deputies filed the charges on Thursday.
One day later, Ulmer was charged with four counts of third-degree trespass after entering a neighbor’s cow barn and pasture without permission. He was arraigned in town court and will return later.
— DAYTON — At about 11:40 a.m. Thursday, deputies charged Daniel Gabel, 80, of 9285 Route 62 with second-degree criminal nuisance. The charge was in response to a number of public nuisance complaints and filed after an investigation. Gabel will answer charges later in town court.
— LITTLE VALLEY — A 22-year-old Cattaraugus man is facing driving while intoxicated charges. Deputies report Jacob R. Harris was charged at 12:35 a.m. Friday on Route 353. He was released and will answer the charges in town court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— SILVER CREEK — Around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, deputies received a complaint of a vehicle that had allegedly traveled off the road on Route 20 in Sheridan and was reportedly continuing to travel eastbound into the village. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle on Howard Avenue and identified the operator as Brian D. Dilorenzo, 55, of Silver Creek. An investigation into the incident determined that Dilorenzo was driving while intoxicated. He was released and will return to Hanover Court to answer charges of aggravated DWI, DWI, and improper signal.
