CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Nicholas Baldwin, 19, of Chautauqua, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 9:44 p.m. Sunday to a reported domestic dispute in the town of Chautauqua. An investigation found that Baldwin allegedly broke another person’s property. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ RIPLEY — Patrick J. Bowman, 33, of Ripley, was charged with third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded at 4:43 p.m. Sunday to a reported assault in the town of Ripley. It was found that Bowman had allegedly attempted to cause injury to another person. During the incident, Bowman struck the victim, subjecting them to physical contact. Bowman was transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ POMFRET — Timothy Coughlin, 60, of Fredonia, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and operate/drive motor vehicle wrong way on one-way street. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 5:05 p.m. Monday on Route20 in the town of Pomfret for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation found that Coughlin was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was proccessed and issued tickets to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.
