CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF

¯ NEW ALBION –A Cattaraugus man is facing charges after a domestic incident. Deputies report James R. Tuttle, 34, of 130 N. Main St., was charged Tuesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree assault and aggravated family offense. The incident occurred during the early hours of Nov. 8. Tuttle was arraigned in New Albion town court and sent to county jail on $20,000 bail pending further court action.

¯ LITTLE VALLEY — Deborah L. Timblin, 40, of 109 Park Place, Little Valley was charged at 9 a.m. Tuesday with first-degree rape, first-degree course of sexual conduct gainst a child, and third-degree obscenity. According to deputies, after an investigation, Timblin was taken into custody without incident and was arraigned in Little Valley Town Court, and transported to the county jail on $50,000 bail. She will be in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

¯ HANOVER — Around 2:10 a.m. Sunday, deputies wstopped a vehicle on Howard and Monroe streets for an alleged traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Thomas A. McCarthy of Buffalo. Through investigation it was determined that he was driving while impaired by drugs. McCarthy was later released with tickets to be in town court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Officers working a domestic violence detail were performing a warrant check of Robert G. Gilbert, 21, at an east side address around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. Upon contact, Gilbert came out of his apartment swinging a baseball bat near officers. Gilbert quickly dropped the bat and was taken into custody for his outstanding felony warrants.

Gilbert continued struggling with officers as they were escorting him to the waiting patrol vehicle for his transport to City Jail. Gilbert was charged with his outstanding warrants and an additional charge of resisting arrest.
