LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

¯ LAKEWOOD — Jeremy Brumfield, 40, was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing, reckless endangerment of property, third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. According to police, on Sept. 30, officers were dispatched to a suspicious situation at Crosby’s, 4469 W. Fairmount Ave. Police had received a report that a previously-reported stolen utility trailer was attached to a vehicle in the store’s parking lot. Police said the vehicle was attempting to leave and it was headed on Fifth Avenue toward Gleason Road. Officers located the vehicle with trailer heading east on Hunt Road. Police said, officers were traveling behind the vehicle when the driver pulled it into a driveway at 1800 Winch Road. The driver then attempted to flee and drove through the yard of the residence, striking a parked vehicle. Police said officers began a vehicle pursuit at a high rate of speed east on Hunt Road. The driver was stopped, police said, on Southwestern Drive and taken into custody. Upon further investigation, the driver was identified as Brumfield, and found to allegedly be in possession of 27 grams of methamphetamine. Brumfield was released and will be in Busti Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Nathan J. Ernewein, no age or address given, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment. According to police, officers responded to the south side of the city for a domestic incident. Upon further investigation, officers learned that Ernewein allegedly threatened to kill the victim and damage the victim’s vehicle. Ernewein was taken into custody, and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in city court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HANOVER — Leanne P. Maniscalco of Forestville was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies respond to a physical altercation on Versailles Road in the town of Hanover. Upon an investigation it is alleged Maniscalco did subject another person to unwanted physical contact. Leanne was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
