¯ SHERIDAN — Mariah Kristan-Johnson, 22, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 2:59 a.m. Sunday on South Roberts Road in the town of Sheridan. An investigation found that Kristan-Johnson was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She will answer the charges in Sheridan Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Justin D. Legere, 37, of Silver Creek, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies and state troopers responded at 8:22 p.m. Sunday to a reported altercation in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Legere allegedly damaged property. He was processed and taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
