JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Darin L. Bates, 23, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree menacing. Officers responded at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday to a residence on the south side of the city for a reported domestic incident. Officers learned Bates allegedly assaulted a woman and menaced her with a knife. Bates, who was taken into custody, was later found to have an active arrest warrant with the Jamestown Police Department. He was being held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ Tina C. Taylor, 50, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday to the city’s east side for a reported alarm and discovered there had been forced entry into the property. The residence was cleared by officers and deemed empty. After reviewing security footage, Taylor was identified and located a short time later. Taylor was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ Rocco Delmonte, 42, of Fredonia, was charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Troopers received a complaint June 8 that stemmed from a road rage incident on Route 60. A person reported that a Jeep driven by Delmonte passed him in a no-passing zone and threw an item at the victim’s vehicle. When both vehicle’s stopped, Delmonte exited the Jeep, kicked the complainant’s vehicle, causing damage, and allegedly began striking a passenger who was still seated in the vehicle. Delmonte then drove away. On June 9, troopers responded to a Fredonia residence for a criminal mischief complaint and reviewed video of Delmonte allegedly slashing a woman’s tire and left a voice message stating that the other tires will be next as well as damage to her residence. After obtaining a warrant, Delmonte was taken into custody at a Dunkirk residence. He was processed and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ RANDOLPH — Angela Blood, 40, of Gerry, was charged with second-degree harassment. Troopers responded Monday to a Randolph residence for an harassment complaint and learned that Blood allegedly arrived at the property, struck another person in the face and threatened that person’s life. Blood is scheduled to appear in Cold Spring Town Court later.
