JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jorge R. Garay, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at midnight Friday to the north side of the city for a reported suspicious situation. Police located Garay, who had a warrant out of Jamestown City Court. Garay was later found with a quantity of methamphetamine. He was held for arraignment.

¯ Devven L. Fetcher, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with unnecessary noise and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers investigated a loud noise complaint around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday in the area of Prendergast Avenue and Price Street. Officers attempted to have the source of the loud music turned down, which reportedly led to Fletcher yell obscenities as small children were playing outside. Fletcher was advised he would receive an appearance ticket for violating city code for unnecessary noise. Fletcher then attempted to flee into his residence before being taken into custody. He was taken to jail and later released.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Matthew W. Buck, 30, of Mayville, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated-child in vehicle and driving while ability impaired. Deputies responded at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday to a vehicle complaint on West Lake Road in the village of Mayville. An investigation found that Buck was allegedly operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs and while there was a child in the vehicle. Buck is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Alexander J. Mac Rae, 43, of Lake View, N.Y., was charged with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and BAC over 0.08%. Officers stopped a vehicle at 11 p.m. on Friday on Forest Avenue Extension. Mac Rae was taken into custody following an investigation. Mac Rae is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

¯ Shelia R. Anderson, 42, of Bemus Point, was charged with two counts of failure to stop at a stop sign, speed in zone, failure to signal turn, failure to comply with a police officer and reckless driving. Officers responded to Hartley Park at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday for a noise complaint and spoke to the operator of a vehicle parked nearby. Anderson reportedly yelled and sped away, coming to a stop on West Summit Avenue near Sunset Avenue. Anderson is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

¯ William M. Templeton, 63, of Warren, Pa., was charged with moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and BAC over 0.08%. Officers at around 6 p.m. on Sunday observed a vehicle moving from its driving lane on East Fairmount Avenue. An investigation found that Templeton was allegedly driving in an intoxicated condition. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
