JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ James A Meuker, 23, no address listed, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle at 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday at North Main and Buffalo streets. There was a brief pursuit before the vehicle stopped on 11th Street. Meuker was taken into custody on a felony warrant from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Meuker was taken to jail and released with an appearance ticket.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ SHERIDAN — Adam J. Neubaur, 32, of Sheridan, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal tampering and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 9:34 p.m. on Tuesday to New Road in Sheridan for a reported altercation. Neubaur allegedly locked himself in the basement and was believed to be in possession of several firearms. Neubaur later exited the residence and was taken into custody. He was transported to jail for centralized arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court later. Dunkirk police also assisted at the scene.
