CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

— RIPLEY — A motor vehicle accident at the new Love’s Rest Stop has led to charges against an Orchard Park man.

At about 2:53 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident. Upon arrival the operator of the at fault vehicle was identified as 38-year-old Ruben Bocanegra.

Further investigation found Bocanegra to be driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the sheriff’s office for processing and additionally charged with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 or higher, DWI, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Bocanegra was released and will be in town of Ripley court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

— IRVING — New York State Troopers charged Jerard Cramer, 35, of Buffalo, with felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Cramer was pulled over on Routes 5 and 20 on Tuesday for driving with no headlights after dark and after failing several field sobriety tests, Cramer was placed under arrest.

Cramer was transported to Fredonia barracks where he provided a breath sample of 0.13. A check of Cramer’s driving record revealed that his driver’s license had been revoked for a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years.

Cramer was then processed, issued tickets and released. He is to be in town of Hanover Court next month.
