JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Samantha L. Kennedy, 35, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and improper/no tail lights. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1 a.m. Sunday in the area of North Main and East Second streets. An investigation found that Kennedy was intoxicated. She was released with tickets to appear in court later.
¯ Ana Rosa Ortiz, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, improper turn and no/improper signal. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1 a.m. Saturday in the area of Prendergast Avenue and East Fourth Street. An investigation found that Ortiz was intoxicated. Ortiz was released with tickets to appear in court later.
¯ Benjamin J. Sebzda, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Sebzda turned himself over to police at 8:50 a.m. Monday on an outstanding arrest warrant for endangering the welfare of a child. While in the city holding facility, Sebzda was allegedly found with a quantity of cocaine that he brought into the jail. Sebzda was arraigned and released.

¯ RANDOLPH — Dean M. Walters, 30, of Randolph, was taken into custody after deputies executed a search warrant at 6:12 p.m. on Thursday at an Ireland Road property. Walters had two active bench warrants out of Randolph Town Court. He was arraigned and released to appear back in court later.
