CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

— FRENCH CREEK — At about 8:30 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mann Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 21 year old Haley A. Pernesky of Erie, Pa. Further investigation found Pernesky to be driving while intoxicated.

Pernesky was taken into custody for DWI and transported to Clymer substation for processing. Pernesky was later released with tickets to be in the town of Mina Court on a later date and time.

— CLYMER — At about 3:53 p.m. Friday, deputies conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Clymer Corry Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 42-year-old Andrew P. Pierce. Through further investigation it was found the town resident was driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Pierce was charged with having an uninspected motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated. He is to be in town of Mina Court at a later date.
