JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Kerri Tidd-Finch, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at noon Wednesday to a west side residence for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Tidd-Finch allegedly punched a man, causing injury. The incident occurred in the presence of two young children. Tidd-Finch was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
¯ Lavern L. Riley, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal personation. Officers responded at 4 p.m. Friday to East Second Street for a suspicious person complaint. During an investigation Riley reportedly provided police with a false name. The false name and date of birth was for a person who was wanted on a warrant. Riley was later transported to Jamestown City Jail for booking and later released.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Kevin J. Weary, 21, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 7:23 p.m. Thursday to a report of an unwanted person on South Gale Street in the village. An investigation found that Weary was allegedly in violation of a stay away order of protection. Weary was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ BROCTON — Kayla Abbey, 28, of Brocton, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 9:27 a.m. Friday to Central Avenue in Brocton for an altercation. An investigation found that Abbey allegedly damaged a fence with her car during an altercation. She was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
