JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Heather Babyak, 52, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. Ray Babyak, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Officers responded at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday to the west side of the city for a reported fight in the road. A man said Ray Babyak allegedly punched him in the face and threw his phone on the ground when he attempted to call 911. Heather Babyak allegedly attempted to push him into traffic. Both Babyaks were located at a nearby address and taken into custody. They were released with tickets to appear in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ RIPLEY — Cody A. Wood, 23, of Ripley, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday to a Ross Street home in Ripley for a reported disturbance. Wood was taken into custody following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
