WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Alex M. McLaughlin, 25, of Westfield, was charged with petit larceny. Officers were called at 12:45 a.m. Monday to 7-Eleven, 96 E. Main St. for a larceny complaint. Employees stated that a male was caught on camera putting ice cream into his backpack and leaving the store without paying. McLaughlin admitted to taking the ice cream and was issued a ticket to appear in court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Daniel E. Oneil, 50, of Jamestown, was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to a Barrows Street residence for a disorderly male. An investigation found that Oneil allegedly exposed himself in front of a female victim and a 3-year-old female child. Oneil was located at the scene and taken into custody. He was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
