JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ John Rausch III, 40, of Buffalo, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. Officers responded at 3:51 p.m. Saturday to a burglary at a residence on Spring Street. It was learned that Rausch allegedly kicked in the door and entered the residence unlawfully. Rausch was located a short distance away and taken into custody. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Kyshawn R. Mims, 25, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with inadequate headlights. Officers stopped a vehicle at 2:14 a.m. Saturday. Mims was taken into custody following an investigation. Mims was released with a ticket to appear in court later.

¯ James R. Wall, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers conducted a street check at 1:44 a.m. Saturday in the area of Spring and East Fifth streets. Wall was reportedly found in possession of metal knuckles and a quantity of methamphetamine. He was held for arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jordan M. Schmoke, 27, of Busti, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Officers responded to a reported crash Thursday on Garfield Road in the town of Busti. Officers found a blue Ford Mustang that was half in the ditch and half in a front yard and unoccupied. A person was observed exiting the vehicle and walking to a nearby home. Officers went to the home and identified the driver as Schmoke. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
