CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ Melissa A. Huch, 48, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right and inadequate tail lamp. Huch was stopped Thursday on Route 380 in the town of Ellicott. An investigation found that Huch was allegedly intoxicated while operating the vehicle. Huch is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Vincent Fruehauf, 61, of Buffalo, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Officers were called at 1:09 p.m. Monday to the area of North Main and West Eighth streets for a report of a disorderly person punching a vehicle. Fruehauf was found to have been standing in the middle of traffic and aggressively going after vehicles. Fruehauf was witnessed punched out and damaged a vehicle’s window. Fruehauf was processed and issued a ticket.
¯ Charles T. Thielges, 33, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers were called at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday to a south side residence for a possible order of protection violation. An investigation found that Thielges was violating the order set by Jamestown City Court by being with a woman in the residence. Thielges was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
