A report of a man pointing a gun at another person Saturday in the parking lot of an East Second Street store netted two Jamestown men criminal possession of weapon charges.

The Jamestown Police Department announced the arrests over the weekend of 23-year-old Tyler G. Coulter and 29-year-old Angel M. Carino Ricard. The department was called to the undisclosed business around 4:30 p.m.

In a news release, JPD said a loaded firearm was found in Coulter’s vehicle while he also allegedly violated an order of protection from a female passenger.

Coulter and Carino Ricard, both of whom were out on parole, were transported to Jamestown City Jail. Carino Ricard was later found in possession of Fentanyl and cocaine, Jamestown police said.

Coulter is facing charges of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Carino Ricard is facing charges of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
