Stolen Vehicle Report Nets City Man Grand Larceny Charge

LAKEWOOD — A village of Lakewood employee who saw his pickup truck being driven down the road ultimately netted a Jamestown man a grand larceny charge.

Cody A. DiDomenico, 27, was released following arraignment Tuesday at the Chautauqua County Jail.

According to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department, a village employee on Monday spotted someone driving his truck and notified authorities. DiDomenico, identified as the operator, was found to have taken the truck without permission.

The city man also was found in possession of a set of keys belonging to another vehicle reported stolen in the town of Ellicott. That vehicle was located in Lakewood and turned over to the Ellicott Police Department.

DiDomenico is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court on the grand larceny charge later.
