Ripley Man Again Tied To Charges Due To Weapon

RIPLEY — A Ripley man, for the second time in less than two weeks, was involved in an incident with an alleged weapon.

On Monday, around 10:42 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address for a reported person with a weapon. Upon arrival, deputies found that the suspect Isiah T. Fuentes, 22, had left the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.

Fuentes was located a short time later at an address which he had entered and remained unlawfully. Fuentes was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree aggravated harassment.

After further investigation into the incident, Fuentes was found to be intoxicated. Fuentes was charged with DWI, DWI Per Se, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, unlicensed operator, no insurance, uninspected motor vehicle, and improper plates.

Fuentes was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

On July 6, deputies reported Fuentes displayed what appeared to be handgun, then put the gun to the head of the victim and threatened to kill the victim. He was charged with second-degree menacing in that incident.
