Woman Accused Of Using Stolen Debit Card Info To Make Purchases

A Jamestown woman is facing multiple felony charges after Lakewood-Busti police say she used stolen debit card information to purchase items from Walmart between late April and early May.

Kimberly E. Phanco, 31, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant with the assistance of the Jamestown Police Department following an investigation. It was learned that Phanco allegedly stole the information from two debit cards between April 28 and May 10 to make 10 purchases online at Walmart.

According to Lakewood-Busti police, Phanco went to Walmart on two occasions to pick up three of the orders. It was also learned that the city woman did not have permission to be on Walmart property due to a previous incident Oct. 13, 2020.

Phanco was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. Charges include seven counts of felony fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of felony second-degree possession of a forged instrument, three counts of petit larceny, four counts of attempted petit larceny and two counts of trespass.
