JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Officers responded at 3:30 a.m. Sunday to a south side address to conduct a warrant check for a known fugitive. Officers located Blair Daniels, no age, of Jamestown, inside a residence and took him into custody without incident on warrants out of West Seneca and Warren County, Pa. Daniels was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
¯ Anthony M. Waterman, no age listed, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 11 p.m. Saturday to a south side address for a domestic dispute. A victim stated they had been involved in an altercation. Waterman was located a short time later and was taken into custody.
¯ Samantha J. Coleman, 32, of Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers responded at 9:35 p.m. Saturday to a report of a woman who unlawfully entered a restricted area at the city BPU. Coleman attempted to flee from officers but was taken into custody. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
GERRY — Shane Perry, 31, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Trooper responded Thursday to Route 60 in Gerry for a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road. Perry advised the troopers he had driven from Erie to begin a road trip when he ran out of gas. Perry displayed multiple signs of being under the influence of opiates and was placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests. Inside Perry’s vehicle troopers located a loaded hypodermic needle and three used hypodermic needles containing heroin residue. He was later transported to Chautauqua County Jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ MAYVILLE — Oliver D. Bookman, 50, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree assault. The Sheriff’s Office said it has been investigating a June 9 incident at the jail in which jail staff was injured. Bookman was charged following the investigation and is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
