JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Alyssa Payne, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. Carin Knight, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with one count of third-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded at 2:09 p.m. Thursday to East Fourth Street for a reported domestic incident. An investigation found that Payne threw a piece of cinder block at Knight’s vehicle, causing extensive damage to the front windshield. It was also found that Knight damaged the back and front windshield of Payne’s vehicle with a piece of cinder block. Both were transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Hayden E. Guichard, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct. Officers responded at 5:40 p.m. Thursday to 7-Eleven on North Main Street for a reported domestic incident. Guichard was observed screaming and jumping onto a vehicle in the parking lot. While attempting to investigate, Guichard fled on foot but was taken into custody a short distance away. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Catherine R. Bindics, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree assault. Officers responded at 10:06 a.m. Friday to Allen and Winsor streets for a reported domestic dispute. Bindics was found to have allegedly struck a man in the back of the head with a baseball bat, causing injury. Bindics was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident and held for arraignment.

¯ James W. Baran Jr., 46, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force went to a Hazzard Street residence Friday to assist parole. A quantity of methamphetamine was located by parole. Baran was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

¯ Robert Ornsby, no age listed, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree menacing. Officers were called at 2:30 a.m. Saturday to the east side of the city for a domestic dispute and learned that Ornsby allegedly threatened another person with a baseball bat. Ornsby was held for arraignment.

¯ Simeon J. Leeper, 18, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Officers were called at 2:13 a.m. Saturday to East Fourth and Pine streets for a possible fight. Leeper was later found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and attempted to conceal it as officers were arriving on scene. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Wayne B. Wright, 50, of Sinclairville, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies were called at 1:09 a.m. Sunday to Sinclairville for a gunshot complaint. Wright, 50, was taken into custody following an investigation and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ KIANTONE — Robert T. Voytovich, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Deputies responded at 10:30 a.m. Sunday to Martin Road in Kiantone for a reported disturbance. Voytovich was taken into custody following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ Velmon Boyd Sr., 53, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree attempted escape. Boyd, an inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail, was transported June 23 to UPMC Chautauqua for medical treatment and attempted to get away after becoming agitated. He reportedly ran into the hallway but was apprehended by a corrections officer. Boyd was brought back to the jail and later arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Robbie M. Stearns, 26, no address listed, was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Officers were called to Walmart at 10:14 p.m. Sunday for a trespass complaint. It was reported that Stearns was inside the store unlawfully as he was banned previously. Stearns was found in possession of two flashlights concealed in his waistband. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

¯ Anthony J. Hauck, 20, of East Randolph, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. Hauck was taken into custody Saturday for a domestic incident that took place in the Chautauqua Mall parking lot. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
