¯PORTLAND — Two Fredonia residents pulled over earlier this month are facing charges after being found in possession of crystal methamphetamine. State Police at Fredonia said Saturday Megann Panek, 30, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of marijuana while David Wolcott, 42, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree criminal contempt. Panek was pulled over on Route 20 for a traffic violation March 12. A check of Panek’s license revealed that an order of protection directed Wolcott from having contact with Panek. The passenger initially provided a false identity but was eventually positively identified as Wolcott and placed under arrest. Also during the traffic stop, Panek was found to be in possession of a bag and a vial containing crystal methamphetamine. Panek was also placed under arrest both Panek and Wolcott were transported to Fredonia barracks where they were processed. Panek was released with an appearance ticket and Wolcott was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯KENNEDY — A rollover accident at Daily Hill and Sprague Hill roads on St. Patrick’s Day has led to charges for a Sinclairville resident. Troopers out of State Police at Jamestown said Saturday they charged John Yusczyk, 27, with driving while intoxicated. Yusczyk was identified as the driver and placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests. Yusczyk was transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.11. Yusczyk was then processed, issued tickets and released. Yusczyk is to be in the town of Poland Court next month. He was not injured in the accident.

¯Troopers from Jamestown charged Nicholas Glover, 33, of Jamestown, with second-degree criminal contempt on Saturday. A vehicle in which Glover was a passenger was pulled over for a seatbelt violation at Washington Street and Fluvanna Avenue in Jamestown. An investigation revealed that the driver and her children had a stay-away order against Glover, directing him to avoid all contact with the protected parties. Glover was placed under arrest, transported to Jamestown barracks and processed. Glover was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to be in the city of Jamestown Court next month.

¯Troopers from Jamestown charged Brian Kennelley, 63, of Jamestown, with driving while intoxicated Friday. Kennelley drove through a State Police road check on Route 60 in Jamestown and after failing several field sobriety tests, Kennelley was placed under arrest. Kennelley was transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.08. Kennelley was then processed, issued tickets and released. Kennelley is scheduled to appear in the town of Kiantone Court next month.

¯SHERMAN — Troopers from Jamestown charged Ashley Fraley, 33, of Sherman, with second-degree aggravated harassment. Troopers were approached by the victim regarding a disturbing phone call. An investigation revealed Fraley contacted the victim and threatened the victim’s safety over the phone. Fraley was arrested March 16 at her residence, processed at Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯STEAMBURG — Troopers out of Jamestown charged Zachary Wilson, 27, of Jamestown, with petit larceny. Troopers responded to the Turtle Pit for a reported shoplifting. An investigation revealed Wilson had exited the store without paying for almost $100 in merchandise. Wilson was placed under arrest, transported to Jamestown and processed. Wilson is scheduled to appear in the town of Cold Spring Court on a later date.

¯Troopers out of Jamestown charged Kevin Anderson, 66, of Jamestown, with driving while intoxicated. Anderson was pulled over on Warren Jamestown Boulevard in Jamestown for traffic violations and after failing field sobriety tests, Anderson was placed under arrest. Anderson was transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.09. Anderson was then processed, issued tickets and released. Anderson is scheduled to appear in the town of Kiantone Court on a later date.
