≤ Early Sunday, troopers charged Jeamarye Morales-Rivera, 25, of Dunkirk, with driving while intoxicated. Morales-Rivera was pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 60 in Fredonia and after failing several field sobriety tests, she was placed under arrest and transported to the Fredonia barracks where she provided a breath sample of 0.11. Morales-Rivera was then processed, issued tickets and released. Morales-Rivera is scheduled to be in the town of Pomfret Court next month.
≤ GERRY — Troopers from Jamestown arrested Karen Webster, 51, of Jamestown, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated. Webster was pulled over on Route 60 for a traffic violation and after failing several field sobriety tests, was placed under arrest. She was transported to Jamestown barracks where she provided a breath sample of 0.08. A check of Webster’s driving record revealed a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years, upgrading the charge to a felony. Webster’s driving record also revealed that her driving privileges in New York had been revoked for an alcohol-related offense. Webster was then processed, issued tickets and released. Webster is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month.
