¯ Dennis Steiner, 42, of Brockport, Pa., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Troopers responded Thursday to a one-vehicle crash on Peck Settlement Road near Jamestown. Steiner was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Multiple envelopes containing heroin residue were also reportedly found in Steiner’s possession. He was transported to UPMC Chautauqua where a blood sample was secured. Steiner was released with tickets to appear in Kiantone Town Court next month. He was not injured in the crash.

¯ FINDLEY LAKE — Joshua Keith, 27, of North East, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated. Keith was stopped Thursday on Route 426 in Findley Lake for a seat belt violation. He was taken into custody after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests and later provided a breath sample of 0.12%. Keith was processed and released with tickets to appear in Mina Town Court later.
