¯ RIPLEY — Jennifer Gruber, 49, of Ripley, was taken into custody Tuesday after deputies conducted a warrant check. Gruber was wanted on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny, stemming from an investigation dating back to Dec. 5, 2020. She was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ WESTFIELD — Steven E. Gardner, 23, of Westfield, was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Gardner was taken into custody following an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division and road patrol. Gardner allegedly entered an apartment at 7561 Route 20 in the town of Westfield and stole items from this location. Westfield police assisted in the investigation. Gardner was issued tickets to appear in Westfield Town Court later.
