JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Herman Hallowell Jr., 58, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely. Officers responded at 7 p.m. Tuesday to the area Douglas Place and Linwood Avenue for a report of a vehicle colliding with a parked vehicle. An investigation found that Hallowell allegedly struck a parked vehicle then fled the scene, and was intoxicated at the time of the incident. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail for processing.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Brandon R. Philbrick, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday to Walmart for a reported larceny. Upon arrival officers reported observed a male leaving the store with various unpaid merchandise. The man, identified as Philbrick, ran from officers but was apprehended. He reportedly attempted to discard narcotics while running from officers. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CLYMER — Marvin Byler, 28, of Clymer, was charged with failure to keep right, improper plates, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 1:29 a.m. Sunday on Clymer Corry Road in the town of Clymer for multiple vehicle and traffic violation. An investigation found that Byler was allegedly operating his vehicle in an intoxicated state. He is scheduled to appear in Clymer Town Court later.
