NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ KENNEDY — Patrick Griffin, 64, of Randolph, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Griffin was stopped Monday on Route 62 in Kennedy for a traffic violation. He was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and transported to UPMC Chautauqua where a blood sample was secured. Griffin is scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court later.

¯ Joshua Bender, 35, of Randolph, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment. Troopers received a walk-in complaint at police barracks for an harassment. An investigation found that Bender allegedly called another person 50 times in three days, leaving multiple voicemails in violation of two separate orders of protection. Bender was processed at police barracks and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CLYMER — Timothy Cressley, 40, of Corry, Pa., for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cressley was stopped Friday on Route 426 in Clymer for a seatbelt violation. He was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and a smoking device containing meth. Cressley was processed and issued a ticket to appear in French Creek Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Blake M. Bird, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree strangulation, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. Officers responded at 9:09 p.m. Saturday to the north side of the city for a reported suspicious situation. An investigation found that Blake allegedly assaulted a woman in front of children. Bird was taken into custody and later remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ Lori A. Everson, 51, of Jamestown, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no/inadequate headlights. Officers stopped a vehicle at 12:30 a.m. Monday in the area of East Second and East Fifth streets for reportedly driving with no headlights. An investigation found that Everson was allegedly driving the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. Everson was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

¯ Mark E. Barnhart Jr., 30, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers responded at 6 p.m. Sunday to a Winsor Street address for a reported burglary. An investigation found that Barnhart had allegedly stolen property from the residence and fled before officers arrived. Barnhart was located a short distance away with the property and taken into custody. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Tiffany M. Walsh, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Walsh allegedly took $110.30 worth of merchandise from Walmart at 5:36 p.m. Sunday without paying. While searching her belongings, Walsh was also allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine. She is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
