CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ KIANTONE — John L. Ferguson, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped to check on a vehicle at 11 p.m. Nov. 25 parked on Route 60 in town of Kiantone. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Ferguson, was allegedly found in possession of a switchblade knife and a quantity of marijuana. A previous conviction made the possession of a switchblade knife a class D felony. Ferguson was issued tickets and released.
¯ RIPLEY — Richard F. Eimers, 75, of Ripley, was charged with second-degree harassment. An investigation found that Eimers allegedly used the vehicle he was operating to prevent another person from leaving a driveway on Nov. 27. The alleged conduct was to confront the victim for no legitimate purpose. Eimers is scheduled to appear in Ripley Town Court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ ALLEGANY — Nathan J. Rhodes, 40 of Allegany, was charged with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a complaint Nov. 4 of possible sexual misconduct of minors. Further investigation revealed that Rhodes allegedly had a sexual relationship with an underaged female victim over a course of years. He was taken into custody and processed at police barracks in Olean.
