CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HANOVER — Christian W. Seneca, 21, of Irving, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speed in excess of 55 mph, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 1:07 a.m. Sunday in the town of Hanover for a traffic violation. It was determined that Seneca was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Gilberto L. Rivera-Ayala, 35, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:35 p.m. Saturday in the town of Hanover for a traffic violation. An investigation determined that Rivera-Ayala was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Thomas R. Jones, 27, of Irving, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling 68 mph in a 45 mph zone at 1:56 a.m. Sunday on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover. Jones was allegedly found to be intoxicated following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ BEMUS POINT — Megan Truver 26, and Alexis Truver, 19, both of Bemus Point, were each charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Noah Rosier, 21, of Bemus Point, was charged with disorderly conduct. Troopers responded Oct. 29 to Lakeside Drive and Brown Road in Bemus Point for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, all parties on scene remained belligerent and refused to cease their behavior despite the troopers’ requests. Megan Truver reportedly resisted the troopers’ attempt to place her under arrest, and Alexis Truver approached and physically interfered with the troopers. Eventually all three were all taken into custody; they are scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

¯ Jacob Lester, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Sunday to Buffalo Street in Jamestown for a one-vehicle crash. An investigation found that Lester exited the road and struck a tree. He reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and later provided a breath sample of 0.16%. Lester is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court later.
