Officers Locate Loaded Gun In Stop, Buffalo Man Charged
A Buffalo man is being held for arraignment after Jamestown police found him in possession of a loaded handgun during a traffic stop early Friday.
Dayrone M. Ferguson, 23, was taken into custody around 4 a.m. after being stopped in the parking lot of Rite Aid at 50 S. Main St. In a news release, Jamestown police say officers found a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
Ferguson did not have a pistol permit.
The Buffalo man was transported to Jamestown City Jail and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
