Mattress Fire Extinguished At Fredonia Hotel
Fredonia Fire Department made quick work of a mattress fire on the second floor of the Econo Lodge on Bennett Road around 6:30 p.m. Friday. The fire was contained to the room of origin and the cause remains under investigation, according to the department. Dunkirk Fire, East Town of Dunkirk, Alstar Ambulance and Fredonia Police were also on the scene of the minor incident.
