City Man Charged After 2019 Church Burglary

A Jamestown man is facing burglary and larceny charges after items were stolen from a Kiantone church in September 2019.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Monday announced charges to 24-year-old Johnny Ray Hallowell following a lengthy investigation. The Sheriff’s Office received word that items — including laptops — were taken at some point prior to Sept. 14, 2019, from Koinonia Christian Fellowship Church in the town of Kiantone.

Hallowell is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court later on charges of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
