CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ ARKWRIGHT — Raymond M. Provorse, 25, of Brocton, was charged with second-degree criminally possessing drug paraphernalia, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday on Route 83 in Arkwright for a traffic violation. An investigation found that Provorse was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia and a hypodermic instrument as well as driving on a suspended licensed. He was issued tickets to appear in Arkwright Town Court later.
¯ MAYVILLE — Eric A. Courtier, 30, of Mayville, was charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal mischief. The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that took place in the village of Mayville. Courtier was issued an appearance ticket following an investigation and is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.
