CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Lisa M. Light, 42, of Silver Creek, was charged with third-degree falsey reporting an incident. Deputies took a complaint from Light. The case was turned over to the Chautauqua County Criminal Investigation Division, and through an investigation, it was found that Light knowingly made a fictitious complaint to the Sheriff’s Office. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Henry J. Fedrick, 30 of Portland, was charged woth third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Troopers stopped Fedrick Wednesday for a traffic violation in the village of Silver Creek. While interviewing Fedrick, troopers observed drug paraphernalia in the center console of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up multiple smoking pipes, methamphetamine, a collection of small glassine envelopes as well as over $2,500 cash. He was processed and later transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Matthew J. Sedlmayer, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with trespassing, second-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration. Officers responded Sunday at 8:11 a.m. to Broadhead Avenue for an unwanted person. Sedlmayer was located on the floor outside the victim’s residence. Sedlmayer allegedly refused to obey commands by officers to leave and was reportedly disorderly near the victim, violating an order of protection. Sedlmayer was taken into custody following a brief struggle and taken to Jamestown City Jail.
