LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jason C. Dodge, 36, of Lackawanna, was charged with petit larceny. A Walmart employee observered Dodge on Thursday leave the store with a backpack and other merchandise without paying. Dodge then reportedly ran toward the Chautauqua Mall, where he was located by police. The backpack and other property were located in nearby brush. Dodge was processed and issued a ticket to appear in Busti Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Robert F. Murphy Jr., 34, of Jamestown, was charged with improper turn, speed in zone, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Officers stopped a vehicle Wednesday at 11:48 p.m. in the area of East Sixth and Fulton streets for erratic operation. An investigation found that Murphy was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. A check found that his blood-alcohol content was over three times the legal limit. Murphy is scheduled to appear in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MINA — Laken N. Perkins, 28, of Sherman, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies respondd Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. to the town of Mina for a harassment complaint. An investigation found that Perkins shoved another person. She is scheduled to answer the charges in Mina Town Court later.

¯ CHARLOTTE — Adam Degolier, 30, of Stockton, was charged with second-degree burglary and petit larceny. Deputies received a reported a burglary that took place at a residence on East Road in the town of Charlotte. An investigation found that Degolier had allegedly unlawfully entered the residence and stole property. Degolier was issued a ticket Thursday to appear in Charlotte Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ MINA — On July 5, troopers out of the State Police in Jamestown charged Christian Kinney, 32, of Sherman, for driving while ability impaired and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Kinney was pulled over for committing several traffic violations on Camp and Mina Roads in Mina, and was placed under arrest after failing SFSTs. Kinney was transported to the State Police barracks where he provided a breath sample of 0.07. A check of Kinney’s driving record revealed that his license was revoked for an out of state DWI. Kinney was then issued tickets and released. Kinney is scheduled to appear in the town of Mina Court on a later date.

¯ KENNEDY — Troopers charged Joseph Jones, 54, of Irving, with driving while ability impaired by drugs. The Troopers responded to Waterboro Hill Road in Kennedy for a report of a subject parked on the roadway, passed out behind the wheel. The troopers located Jones in the driver’s seat and unconscious. Jones was placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests and transported to UPMC Hospital in Jamestown where he provided a blood sample. Jones was then transported to the State Police barracks where he was processed and issued tickets. Jones is scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court later in the month.
