ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Paige L. Patterson, 30, no address listed, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle Friday at 2:30 a.m. on Fairmount Avenue for a violation. An investigation found that Patterson was allegedly found in possession of heroin. Patterson was issued a ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Steven E. Ribbing Jr., 37, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take breath test. Officers responded Wednesday to the area of Hallock Street and Harding Avenue for a report of a vehicle all over the road. An investigation found that Ribbing was allegedly operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition after failing field sobriety tests. He was held for arraignment.

¯ Samantha M. Gonzalez, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, failure to stop at a stop sign, following too closely and driving while intoxicated. James T. Jackson, 33, of Buffalo, was charged with third-degree assault. Officers responded Thursday at 1:12 a.m. to the area of Bush and Bowen streets for a report a sedan attempting to run over a woman before fleeing the area. An investigation found that Gonzalez was allegedly intoxicated and had struck two vehicles during a fight. Jackson was found to have allegedly struck a woman during the fight. Both were held for arraignment.

¯ Kurry S. Cordosi, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers were dispatched Saturday at 4:23 p.m. to the area of 68 Chambers St. for a report of a person with a weapon. It was learned that Cordosi allegedly punched a person in the face and continued to fight. During the struggle, Cordosi reportedly attempted to pull a pistol out of his pants when another person was able to disarm him. Officers recovered the pistol, and Cordosi was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Howard J. McAvoy, no age listed, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful fleeing a police officer and resisting arrest. Officers reported observing McAvoy urinating in the middle of Sunset Drive. When confronted, McAvoy become uncooperative and allegedly drove away during the traffic stop. After a short pursuit, McAvoy was stopped, where he reportedly resisted arrest and attempted to break the window of a patrol vehicle by slamming his forehead into the glass repeatedly. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ Alex C. Peru, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Officers was called Sunday at 8:26 p.m. to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Peru was found to have allegedly taken $20.76 worth of merchandise. During a search, Peru was also found to be in possession of a needle. Peru was issued a ticket to appear in Busti Town Court later.

¯ Angela B. Peru, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Officers were called to Walmart Saturday at 8:30 p.m. for a reported larceny. It was learned that Peru took $11.98 worth of merchandise. During a search, Peru was reportedly found in possession of 26 hypodermic needles. She was released with tickets to appear in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HANOVER — Leslie Logan, 56, of Irving, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies observed a traffic violation Saturday at 11:31 p.m. in the town of Hanover. Logan was taken into custody following an investigation. Logan is scheduled to answer the charges later in Hanover Town Court.

¯ SILVER CREEK — Robert J. Daege, 35, of Youngstown, N.Y., was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and refusal to take a breath test. Deputies responded June 27 at 7:42 p.m. to a vehicle complaint in the village of Silver Creek. The driver was identified as Daege. He is scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Village Court later.

¯ KIANTONE — Steven M. Becker, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded July 1 to an address in the town of Kiantone for a reported altercation between Becker and another person. An investigation found that Becker allegedly struck another person in the face, causing them to fall to the ground. Becker then physically restrained the individual in the house not allowing them to leave. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
