JAMESTOWN POLICE

¯ Jose A. Rosario, 44, was charged with fourth-degree mischief, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana after officers responded to a Fulton Street residence around 5:30 p.m Thursday. Rosario allegedly had broken an item and restrained a victim and did not allow the victim to leave a residence. He was located a short distance from the scene and found to be in possession of marijuana and was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was being held pending arraignment.

¯ Luis A. Irizarry Jr. was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, and two counts of aggravated family offense. At about 8:20 p.m. Thursday, Jamestown police and members of the New York State Police were working on a joint operation when they responded to to a residence at 43 W. Ninth St. After an investigation, it was determined that Irizarry was in violation of a duly served stay away order of protection out of Jamestown City Court for him to stay away from two females. He was transported to city court and was being held pending arraignment at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF”S DEPARTMENT

¯ HANOVER — Paul Reed, 60, of Orchard Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more, refusal to take breath test, failure to keep right and improper or no signal. At about 10:20 p.m. June 27, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle complaint in the town. Deputies did locate the vehicle in question and did observe it to commit several traffic infractions. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the driver to be Reed. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested and charged Reed, and transported him to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized Arraignment.
