JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Luis O. Cardona-Valle, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded Tuesday at 6:10 p.m. to East Sixth Street for a domestic incident between a father and son. An investigation determined that Cardona-Valle had allegedly choked his son and shoved him into a wall, causing a bloody nose. The 16-year-old victim ran out of the home where he met officers. The victim was found to have blood all over his face and hands. He was treated and released. Cardona-Valle was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was held for arraignment.

¯ William P. Abbey, 51, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers observed Abbey walking Thursday on West Third Street with another person who had an order of protection against him. Abbey was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jaysen Santos, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. Santos was observed June 4 allegedly concealing items at Walmart and passing all points of sale. Santos was detained and later found to be in possession of unpaid property. He was issued a ticket to appear in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ Derae L. Luce, 50, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right. Deputies responded June 8 to a crash on Route 60 in the town of Kiantone. It was learned that Luce allegedly failed to keep right and struck another vehicle. Luce was issued tickets to appear in Kiantone Town Court later.
