CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ Nicholas T. Doland, 30, of Celoron, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, unsafe lane change, and speeding. According to deputies, Doland was observed allegedly committing a lane-change violation, and speeding on Jones and Gifford Avenue in Jamestown. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

¯ RIPLEY — Matthew W. Higby, 34, of Ripley, was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded Monday at 11:38 p.m. to a Ripley address for a reported altercation. Higby allegedly struck another person and threatened harm with a machete. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ MAYVILLE — Michael J. Bartok, 46, of Mayville, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mishchief, second-degree menancing, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts of aggravated harassment. Deputies responded to an address in Mayville for a reported altercation. Upon arrival, deputies learned Bartok fled the scene. He was found near a wooded area near the scene. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

ELLICOTT TOWN POLICE

¯ Devon A. Estus, 27, and Ashley A. Estus, 28, no addresses given, were each charged with two counts with endangering the welfare of a child. According to police it was learned through investigation that both allegedly failed to provide proper supervisision for a 10-year-old child, and also failed to seek timely medical attention for a 10-month-old child. Both will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ LITTLE VALLEY — Jordan S. Coulon, 25, of 29 Walnut St., Gowanda, was charged Monday with second-degree criminal trespass, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies were investigating complaints of a dispute. Coulon will be in Little Valley Town court later.

¯ RANDOLPH — Josh R. Bender was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. According to deputies, on May 4, Bender allegedly violated the Stay Away Order of Protection when he contacted the protected person by phone and by text. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for entralized arraignment. Bender was released and is scheduled to return to Cattarsugus County Court on July 13.
