CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SHERMAN — William A. Deloe, 36, of Sherman was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Deputies responded Wednesday at 7:47 p.m. to the town of Sherman for a reported altercation. Deloe allegedly obstructed deputies and interfered with the investigation. He was released with tickets to appear in Sherman Town Court later.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA – Christine M. Baca, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and visibility distorted/broken glass. Deputies stopped a vehicle Saturday at 4:14 p.m. on Route 394 in the town of Chautauqua for a traffic violation. An investigation found that Baca was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs. She is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE – Donald M. Swanson, 48, of Panama, was charged with moving from lane unsafely, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, parking on pavement, unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol. Deputies were called to a Sinclairville residence Thursday at 6 p.m. for a report of a crash in which the vehicle left the scene. The vehicle was located a short time later in the town of Ellery. An investigation determined that Swanson was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs and alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Charlotte and Ellery town courts at a later date.

¯ SHERIDAN – Gretchen Gaudreau, 49, of Dunkirk, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.18% or more, DWI and speed in zone. Deputies observed a vehicle speeding on Route 20 in the town of Sheridan on Wednesday. Gaudreau was identified as the operator. She is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court later.

¯ ELLERY – Sally M. Lawson, 63, of Ellery, was taken into custody Saturday on an arrest warrant for second-degree falsely reporting an incident. She was taken to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ PANAMA — William E. Curry, 37, no address listed, was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on Friday following a warrant check in the town of Harmony. Curry, out on parole for robbery, allegedly violated parole requirements. He was found inside a Panama residence by sheriff’s deputies, a K-9 unit and New York State Parole.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Tayla J. Williams, 24, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault. Officers responded Thursday to a residence on Anderson Street for a reported domestic incident. An investigation found that Williams allegedly struck a man several times. Williams was located a short time later and was taken into custody. She was held for arraignment.
