LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sarah K. Fowler, 28, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument at 8 p.m. Monday. According to police, Fowler was allegedly caught stealing from Walmart in Lakewood. She was taken into custody, released, and will be in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ Tyler Milliron, 24, of Ripley, was charged Wedesnday with second-degree burglary, petit larceny and four counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. For the past several months, officers have been investigating several burglaries in the Ripley area. As a result of the investigation, Milliron was found to be in connection with the alleged burglaries. He will be in Ripley Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Michael A. Long, 41, of Jamestown, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation. According to police, at about 4:27 p.m., officers were called to a reported domestic dispute on Lafayette Street. Upon further investigation, officers learned Long allegedly damaged property in the residence and choked a woman. Long was taken into custody with incident and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

¯ Paul Otto, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. According to police, officers responded at 7:13 a.m. to a shoplifting complaint at Tops Markets, 739 Foote Ave. Upon arrival, officers learned store employees apphrended Otto after he allegedly stole various items from the store. He was taken to city jail and will be in city court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ GERRY — Elizabeth Barker, 27, of Gerry was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Troopers responded Monday for a reported domestic dispute at a Gerry residence. An investigation found that there was an order of protection directing Baker to stay away from another person. Baker was issued a ticket to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ Amanda Cuthbert, 31, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Troopers received a report of a stolen pick-up truck in the town of Ellicott. The truck was located at the Gurnsey Hollow Cemetery in South Valley while Cuthbert was observed fleeing from the vehicle. She was issued a ticket to appear in South Valley Town Court later, and the truck was returned to its owner.
