City Teen Charged After Stabbing

A stabbing incident late Sunday in Jamestown has led to assault and child endangerment charges.

The Jamestown Police Department said Tyler M. Hough, 18, was taken into custody after officers were called Sunday around 9:50 p.m. to the area of West Fourth and Cherry streets for a reported stabbing.

A 16-year-old male was found to have been stabbed in the leg following an altercation involving “several subjects,” the Jamestown Police Department said in a news release.

The 16-year-old was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Hough is facing charges of second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was being held at the Jamestown City Jail for arraignment.

Officers were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
