¯ STOW — Patricia McIntosh, 51, of Kirtland, Ohio, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance by ultimate users original container. Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-86 in Stow on Sunday. McIntosh, a passenger, was found to be in possession of an Alprazolam pill for which she did not have a prescription. She is scheduled to appear in North Harmony Town Court later.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Dakota Barber, 28, of Sinclairville was charged with fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Troopers stopped a vehicle Sunday on Park Street in Sinclairville for a traffic violation. An investigation found that the license plate did not belong to the vehicle, which had been taken from a truck stop in Tennessee and reported stolen in California. Barber was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SHERMAN — Chelby M. Murray, 28, of Sherman was charged with two counts of felony first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and two counts of petit larceny. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation regarding a burglary/fraud in the Sherman area. Upon the conclusion of the investigation an arrest warrant was issued Murray out of Busti Town Court. She was taken into custody Tuesday and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
