Driver Injured In Afternoon Crash
The driver of a car that struck a utility pole in Jamestown was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon. Jamestown firefighters and EMS were alerted around 2:20 p.m. to the crash on Steele Street, west of Sprague Street. The vehicle struck a pole, causing front-end damage to the Subaru. The female operator was transported by Jamestown ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Jamestown Police Department also responded and was investigating the crash. No further information was available by press time.
