CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ WESTFIELD — Charles M. Finn, 49, of North East, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operating, speed over 55 mph and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies stopped a vehicle Tuesday at 8:25 p.m. on Route 5 in the town of Westfield for traffic violations. An investigation found that Finn was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He is scheduled to appear in Westfield Town Court later.

¯ MAYVILLE — Raechel S. Connell, 28, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies conducted a warrant check Tuesday at the Family Court Office Building in Mayville. Deputies located Connell, who had an active warrant in Jamestown. She was allegedly found in possession of suboxone for which she did not have a prescription. Connell was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ BROCTON – Amanda J. Mecca, 35, of Brocton was taken into custody Wednesday. Deputies conducted a warrant check on Old Mill Road in the village of Brocton. Mecca, who had a warrant for her arrest for being a fugitive from justice, was located inside. Mecca was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for holding.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Mary A. Philbrick, 25, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle Monday at 6:56 p.m. at Jefferson and West Third streets. An investigation found that Philbrick was allegedly in possession of less than a gram of methamphetamine and fentanyl. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and later released with appearance tickets. Braxton Achterberg, 25, of Jamestown, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have bench warrants out of Jamestown and the Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
