CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHARLOTTE — Evan M. Snyder, 35, of Russell, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and leaving the scene of an accident. Deputies located a man Saturday at 11:43 p.m. on the side of Route 60 in the town of Charlotte. An investigation found that Snyder had crashed, and later determined he was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Charlotte Town Court later.

¯ ELLERY — Samantha M. Newman, 19, of Gerry was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, no/insufficient tail lamps and uninspected motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday at 1:02 a.m. in the town of Ellery for a traffic violation. An investigation found that Newman was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. She is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

¯ CLYMER — Jamie L. Donnell, 40, of Panama was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, operating without insurance, moving from lane unsafely and improper/no signal. Deputies stopped a vehicle Tuesday at midnight in the town of Clymer. Donnell is scheduled to appear in Clymer Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Caroline Penhollow, 20, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, aggravated family offense and two counts of first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded Sunday to Baker Street for an order of protection violation. An investigation found that Penhollow allegedly called another person nearly 100 times within an hour. There was an active order of protection for Penhollow to stay away from the person. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ CLYMER — Carmen Tizzano, 36, of Chardon, Ohio, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped a vehicle Sunday on Old Road in Clymer for a traffic violation. Tizzano was taken into custody after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests. He later provided a breath sample of 0.11%, and is scheduled to appear in French Creek Town Court later.

¯ FINDLEY LAKE — Stephen Muskara, 56, of Gates Mills, Ohio, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Sunday to Interstate 86 for a report of a reckless driver and reported finding the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. Muskara was taken into custody after failing several field sobriety tests. Muskara later provided a breath sample of 0.21%, and is scheduled to appear in Mina Town Court later.
