CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ KENNEDY — Nicholas A. Kelwaski, 27, of Kennedy was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Kelwaski was taken into custody following an altercation that reportedly took place Feb. 3 around 7:17 p.m. in Kennedy. Deputies say Kelwaski allegedly physically harassed another individual and damaged their property. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned.
¯ RIPLEY — Cortland J. Hepfner, 19, of Ripley was charged with sexual misconduct. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division looked into a report of a suspicious situation. Investigators say Hepfner allegedly engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile victim. He is scheduled to appear in Ripley Town Court later.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ April A. Crawford, 38, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Police say Crawford on Wednesday took $349.16 in merchandise inside Walmart. She is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Miguel A. Rodriguez, 54, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers investigated a previous domestic incident that took place at a Lincoln Street residence. It was learned that Rodriguez violated an order of protection and was located nearby. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
