Woman Jailed After Stabbing
A Cattaraugus County woman was jailed after reportedly stabbing a neighbor multiple times.
The New York State Police charged 21-year-old Kaylee A. Hicks with second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Troopers were called to a reported stabbing that took place Saturday at a residence on Mersereau Place in the Cattaraugus County village of Portville. An investigation found that Hicks allegedly stabbed her neighbor, though no further information regarding the incident was made public.
Hicks, of Portville, was arraigned in Portville Village Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. She is due to reappear back in court later this month, the state police said.
