No One Injured After Shot Hits City Home

No one was injured after shots were fired late Tuesday in the city of Jamestown.

Capt. Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department said multiple calls were received around 9 p.m. of gunshots heard in the area of Falconer and Thayer streets.

An investigation determined that shots had been fired in the direction of 112 Thayer St.

Samuelson said one of the rounds did strike the residence, which was reportedly vacant at the time of the incident.

The shooting remains under investigation.
